The Nolsen HomeControl is specially designed for control, automation and management of Gree heat pumps to achieve the highest comfort and energy efficiency.The control is provided by a device that has been developed for the heat pump family exclusively matched to the heating center. It covers all the basic functions that may be needed for an automation: it ensures the power supply of the bus, the connection with other connected devices (heating and cooling units, thermostats), and enables remote control from a computer, smartphone or tablet. At least one controller is required per installation. The package contains the software which can be updated via Ethernet connection from the internet.
The module includes all functions, external software is not required, and programming can be done through the web browser, with easy-to-select drop-down menus.
The module allows for very simple installation, only basic electrical knowledge is required for installation and programming.
The device can be mounted on a DIN rail, in an electrical distribution cabinet (standard distribution board).
Functionality
Distributed operation. The core and distinguishing feature of HomeControl is that it’s extremely reliable.There is no central device: Each device itself is a central device and also an extension at the same time, allowing very high error tolerance. In case of failure, only that functionality is lost what was controlled by the defective device, there is no full function loss.
Self-contain software. The HomeControl IO14 has a built-in software for programming the functionality of the device, control the device and peripheries. The entire software and functionality is accessible from a webbrowser, no need to download and keep an app up-to-date. The firmware can be updated online.
Heating and cooling
Wired up with Modbus thermostats, or 1-Wire temperature sensors, single and cascade heat source control with start & stop signal or Modbus.Zone control for surface heating and cooling with dew point water temperature regulation, independent, manual, or scheduled room temperature and humidity control for the highest achievable comfort and energy efficiency.

Through this, we can transmit the heating or cooling water produced by the heat pump directly, without mixing back, to the low or high temperature heat emitters.

The installation kit provides possibility to reach the controlled water temperature of a surface cooling or a low temperature system in addition to the direct circuit by means of back mixing from the return branch.
